Ingredients:
- 0.5 cups butter or margarine
- 1 pound brussel sprouts, fresh, trimmed, or frozen and thawed
- 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
- Melt butter or margarine in skillet over medium-high heat. Add Brussels sprouts and mix to coat. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for about 8 minutes, until tender but firm. Remove from heat and season with nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve choux de bruxelles warm as a side dish with meat, chicken, or fish.
